Act Locally for a Just, Resilient, and
Waste-Free World

Finger Lakes ReUse is dedicated to reducing waste, teaching job skills, and building stronger communities. Through reuse, we transform unwanted materials into valuable community assets.

Every community generates reusable materials, yet too often these valuable resources end up in landfills due to a lack of options. A Community ReUse Center (CRC) provides a convenient way to exchange and keep materials in circulation. A broad network of reuse facilities is necessary to comprehensively and effectively manage the volume of quality, marketable materials.

Finger Lakes ReUse has developed this ReUse Technical Assistance Program (ReTAP) to provide the knowledge and tools you need to start your own Community ReUse Center. Use our business planning template and get expert guidance to build reuse capacity in your town or city.
